ALEXIS JOHNICAN - MAID OF HONOR

Let me introduce you to my amazing Maid of honor, Johnican, who's been by my side since the epic nap battles of first grade. While I had a lame, squeaky plastic mat for nap time, she showed up with a plush blanket and pillows fit for a queen. Of course, I couldn't resist the temptation of her cozy setup, so I ended up crashing next to her after she fell asleep, much to her amusement—she's the one who jokes about us "sleeping together." From those early days to now, she's been more than a friend; she's been my rock. As I embark on this journey into marriage, I couldn't imagine doing it without her by my side. She's not just my Maid of honor; she's family. 

LUPE

Meet Lupe, one of my guiding lights in life. Though she may not realize it, I have always admired and loved her grace and composure, a trait that has resonated with me since our elementary school days. Our shared love for K-pop has only strengthened our bond, from joyfully dancing along to our favorite songs to passionately discussing different groups. Our friendship has blossomed in unexpected ways, and I hold dear every moment we've spent together. From the playful antics of our school days to the heartfelt conversations that have shaped us, our connection runs deep. With Lupe, I've discovered more than just a friend; she's a kindred spirit. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for her unwavering presence by my side, especially amidst the chaos of wedding planning.

ERICKA

My sister is more than just a sibling—she's a whirlwind of personality, with a laugh that fills the room and a spirit that's impossible to contain. She's like a fusion of Wonder Woman and a comedy genius, with a dash of sass for good measure. We've had our fair share of sibling squabbles, especially when we're vying for the coveted title of 'Mom's Favorite Child'—an ongoing battle that's as hilarious as it is ridiculous. Of course, I'm winning, but beneath the banter and the playful rivalry, there's an unspoken bond that runs deep. With her quick wit and infectious energy, she brings a spark to every moment. And as my bridesmaid, I know she'll bring that same spark to our journey down the aisle, making memories that we'll laugh about for years to come.

ISAIAH

Throughout his life, I've been there for my nephew, trying my best to guide him through the twists and turns of growing up. While I may not have always been perfect, he has unknowingly taught me more about growth and resilience than I could ever teach him. His patience, understanding, and unwavering support have been constant reminders of the beauty of our relationship. His antics never fail to crack me up, and whenever we're together, there's never a dull moment. Our time spent together is always filled with laughter and joy, as we embark on adventures and create memories that will last a lifetime. Through every laugh and every shared moment, our bond grows stronger, and I am reminded of the incredible privilege it is to have him in my life. As he stands beside me as my bridesman, I am filled with gratitude for his unwavering support and the endless fun we've had together.

LUIS  - BEST MAN

Embarking on my college journey, I crossed paths with Luis within the ROTC Program. Together, we forged an exceptional partnership, with him spearheading military events and me meticulously orchestrating the details. As the sands of time have flowed, my admiration for Luis has deepened, especially witnessing how his charismatic aura radiates positivity to all in his orbit.

Beyond our college exploits, Luis has been a constant pillar of support throughout my life's ebbs and flows. In moments of triumph, he's been there to share in the joy, and during times of adversity, his unwavering presence has offered solace, encouragement, and understanding. His enduring support has not only heightened the celebratory moments but has also been a steadfast anchor during the stormy seas of life's challenges.

Our shared experiences have woven a tapestry of friendship, a testament to the resilience and strength of our bond. Luis's enduring commitment has transformed our journey into more than a collection of moments; it's a narrative of enduring camaraderie that withstands the tests of time.

JASON

My journey with Jason began seven years ago at the workplace, and our connection has evolved from mere colleagues to genuine friends. Jason holds the unique distinction of being both the instigator and the designated driver in the first and last instances where I indulged enough to feel queasy in the car.

What truly binds us is our shared, slightly twisted, and dark sense of humor, a bond that often leads to rapid-fire exchanges of jokes, leaving our partners shaking their heads. A few years back, Jason honored me with the request to be the godparent of his first daughter, Lucy—an invitation that touched me deeply. His friendship is among the dearest to me, and being entrusted with such a significant role in his family is truly humbling.

Observing Jason and his wife navigate the journey of parenthood has been nothing short of inspiring. Their ability to raise a family with love and wisdom has set a remarkable example. I aspire to follow in his footsteps, not just as a godparent but as someone who learns from the profound way he and his wife have built a beautiful family together.

STEVEN

I'd like to say a few words about my good friend Steven Malone, who I had the privilege of meeting during our time in ROTC at Purdue. Back then, we were just a couple of college students trying to figure out our place in the world. But even in those early days, it was clear that Malone was something special.

As I got to know him better, I was struck by how he always put his family's needs ahead of his own, even with everything else he had on his plate. That kind of selflessness is rare, and it’s one of the many reasons I admire him.

Malone became more than just a friend to me—he became someone I knew I could talk to about anything, someone who’d give me the shirt off his back, just as I’d do for him. He was always there with good advice, even if I didn’t always listen, and I’ve come to value his perspective more than I can express.

I’ve always kept a close circle of friends, and anyone in that circle is someone I trust without question. Malone is right at the heart of that group.

I’ll never forget attending his wedding and seeing him and his wife share their first dance. It was a beautiful moment that nearly brought me to tears. Watching them, I couldn’t help but think how lucky they were to have found each other, and I quietly hoped that one day, I’d be fortunate enough to find the same kind of love.

Malone, you’ve been a true friend, and I’m grateful to have you in my life. Here’s to many more years of friendship and all the happiness you deserve.

KEVIN

I first crossed paths with Kevin at the tender age of 18 during an initial Calderone family meeting. In a moment of uncertainty about navigating college and the military, I reached out to his father, Joel, seeking a place to stay. Joel suggested a family meeting, a prospect that left me nervously treading unfamiliar territory as a non-family member.

In that pivotal family gathering, the verdict hung on Kevin's willingness to share a room with me. To my immense fortune, Kevin's heart was wide open, and he readily agreed. Subsequently, Lisa and Joel legally adopted me into their family, making me a bona fide member of the Calderone household.

Throughout the years spent with Kevin, he has consistently shown kindness, enduring my quirks and antics with unwavering patience. In the midst of our shared adventures, Kevin demonstrated not only his kindness and patience but also his quick thinking. One unforgettable moment comes to mind when he prevented me, in a daring act, from accidentally turning treasured family heirlooms into ashes. His vigilance and protective nature showcased the depth of our friendship and the invaluable presence he holds in my life . He quickly evolving into the brother I am proud to claim. Kevin has weathered the highs and lows of our journey together. Despite the inevitable bumps in the road, Kevin has always stood as a steadfast and true friend.

We are incredibly fortunate and grateful to have Aundrea as our wedding officiant. Aundrea is a beacon of experience in the Nashville wedding scene, boasting over 15 years of expertise. Her wealth of knowledge and presence truly elevates our ceremony, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have her guiding us on this special day.
